Josh and James Yoon, together with their parents, opened KOJA in the heart of historic downtown Newberg, Oregon, bringing decades of Japanese and Korean culinary tradition to the Willamette Valley.
The name KOJA itself blends the two traditions at the heart of every dish — KOrean authenticity and JApanese craftsmanship — a fusion that feels natural because it is. It's how the Yoon family has always cooked at home.
Since opening in April 2026, KOJA has quickly become one of Newberg's most beloved restaurants — not because of advertising, but because of what happens when passion meets a bowl of ramen.
