KOJA Ramen & Bulgogi was born from a simple conviction: that the very best food comes from family, craft, and love. Josh and James Yoon, together with their parents, opened KOJA in the heart of historic downtown Newberg, Oregon, bringing decades of Japanese and Korean culinary tradition to the Willamette Valley.

Every broth is simmered low and slow. Every bowl is assembled to order. Every guest is welcomed as a member of the family. Since reopening in April 2026, KOJA has become one of Newberg's highest-rated restaurants — not because of marketing, but because of what happens when passion meets a bowl of ramen.
